We all have those days when we feel the urge to pay more attention to our skin. Thing is, Our skin needs to be taken care off properly,especially during winter when the weather becomes dry and windy.
Believe me when I tell you that we totally understand what it feels like to be confused about finding the perfect skin care routine for your skin type, we know it can be difficult especially if you’re a newbie and you aren’t quite sure about what products to use.
There are countless number of skin care products available in the markets today for customers to buy, it’s important for you to choose products wisely before making that purchase. So if you this sounds like something you’d like to know more about you’ve definitely come to the right place.
So we have decided to bring to you some of tried and true skin care routine. Also we’ve been have practicing this routine for a while and it has been one of the major key things we do to kick-start our day. have seen great improvement, I believe it would definitely work for you too regardless of your skin type.

So let’s get started.
I decided to simplify this by divided into three parts: My morning face ritual, Mid face magic and lastly my Night ritual. We’ll begin with Morning face ritual;
Morning Face Routine.
Our skin has never been better. we like to start off with one of the basic steps of the routine by;
Our personal favorite is the Laneige multi-deep clean. I like to wash my face with this for at least one minute never less. Ha-ha!
For this step we prefer to use the chemical method of exfoliation. We like to use it every other day throughout the week. The brand we like to use is this one from The Ordinary. Be careful with this because chemical exfoliation increase the skin sensitivity to sunlight. Therefore, moisturize your skin and never forget to use an SPF along with this.
There are bunch of really good SPF and really inexpensive ones you can decide to try out. This one from Neutrogena’s us a brilliant choice. SPF is a must try if you are trying to see some results with whatever products you decide to use.
Retinol or Vitamin C
you might find this interesting…. but do you know that applying products containing these two ingredients drastically makes a difference in skin appearance? Retinol and vitamin c contains skin brightening properties they also have anti-aging benefits as well.
No skin care is ever complete without moisturizing the skin. Ever since I came across this one from Bobbi Brown face cream. I fell in love with moisturizing my skin. Any water-based moisturizer would do the job. You can’t go wrong with water-based products.
The idea of Korean 10 step skincare routine seems intriguing but there’s no denying that layering so much can overwhelm the skin. less is always more. just seems to work easier, besides there are less skin care steps to observe.2). Mid-day face magic.
Sound strange to you? You can never go wrong with this. I’ll d prefer to say that, this is one of the most neglected yet vital part of maintaining a clear butter smooth skin. We only do two basic things in this step,you can use this even though you are wearing your daily makeup.
I am particularly fond taking this extra step especially when I have makeup on and I want my makeup to last all day.
During the day ,you just need to spray your face with face mist to keep your face hydrated always. A really good hydrator I recommend is the dermalogica skin hydrating booster. For my budget friendly skin care lovers definitely try out the Laneigne water bank hydro mist.
Another very quick tip, is drink enough water. Remember, No amount of facial mist can hydrate your skin as much as what water would do.
This particular step can only give most benefits if you always find yourself wearing makeup. It’s more makeup than skin related but I’ll like to think that it can also make your skin look flawless throughout the day. Apply some lipsticks to elevate your look I suggest you try out the Amazing winter lipstick picks of mine. we’ve been obsessed about how fly these lipsticks make us feel. That’s what we all want!
For this one, you’ll need your lip balm, mineral foundation,face tissue or face patches[for all our oily skin babes]. you simply need to re-apply your foundation if your face needs a little bit of makeup. Don’t forget to apply your lip balm on your lips before your lipstick this keeps your lips feeling moisturized and sexy!
3). Night Ritual.
My twin divine and I always look forward to our night time ritual, we love spending quality time while carrying our night facial routine. For our night time ritual,we basically repeat the same thing only this time we include one very important step.
Several researchers have been able to prove that our skin repair functions perform better at night than in the morning or noon. This makes night time the best time to use your treatment serums.
Bare in mind that, your use of treatment oils and serums must be targeted towards fighting specific skin care issues like acne, breakouts or under eye dark circles.
Recently on the blog, we shared our thoughts on some of our favorite skin care brands I have loving. We talked about our favorite brand for acne treatments. We loved…. our Estee Lauder advanced skin repair serum. It’s a little bit pricey but definitely worth the buy. We both saw amazing results in 2 weeks of using this. Isn’t that awesome!
Another amazing hack we love to use is that, we apply our vitamin c or brightening serums on our elbows,knees and neck. These areas are the one of the darkest parts of our skin and since trying this out, our hyper-pigmentation has reduced drastically.
Sadly, not everyone is blessed with a perfect skin, some of us have to put in the hard work to see results we want. Remember that it’s your body and more importantly you have to be patient with your self and your skin. Don’t panic if your skin fails to show result immediately, you need to be diligent and steadfast.
Behind every perfect skin you see there’s more to it than just using products. Eat healthy meals, drink enough water and try to sleep enough.
Our skin isn’t where we would love it to be but we’ll probably say that at the moment our skin right now is probably the best it’s been in a while. Definitely means we’re doing something right!
